In different parts of the world different kinds of people with different talents are considered of more or less value. The American culture strongly says that you must be good looking, rich, athletic, and educated.
- In rodeo, it is easy to think you are only valuable when you win. The more you win the better you are is the lie many of us believe. But no matter how much we win we still don’t have that feeling of worth and we strive to win more.
- God doesn’t love any of us more or less because of our wins or losses in the arena. He loves us because He wants to. Nothing we can do or have done can make Him stop loving us or love us more.
- You may say, “I don’t feel very loved!” The more a person gets to know God and know the Bible then that person will know the love God has for them. Knowing the Bible is more than reading it; it is treasuring it in our hearts and believing that the words spoken are God’s love letter to each of us, individually.
- The problem always comes when we ignore or reject God. God often uses kindness to lead us to repentance and that is why even though when we have totally ignored God our lives seem Ok. But God wants more than our lives to be Ok. Jesus Christ did not come and die for us so that we might live in total mediocrity.
Some of the greatest things that God wants to give each daughter is love, joy, freedom, and peace. Instead of striving and fighting in our inner being God wants us to be rid of all anxiety.
- Instead of being put into a mold and being what others expect of us, God wants us to be free to be ourselves. To be what He created us to be.
- Our lack of peace, joy, and freedom come because of our disinterest and disrespect for the One who created us.
JESUS CHRIST, THE ONE WHO WANTS TO BE WITH EACH OF US FOR ALL ETERNITY, CHOSE TO COME TO EARTH AND DIE ON THE CROSS. AND YOU MAY ASK, “JESUS WHY WOULD YOU LEAVE PERFECT HEAVEN AND COME TO EARTH TO DIE?” HIS ANSWER IS, “I LOVE YOU!”
