Getting started When You Hurt Friends Helping Friends Judy's Blog Sandy's Devotional
Because the Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything I need.
He lets me rest in the meadow grass and leads me beside the quiet streams.
He gives me new strength.  He helps me do what honors him the most.
Psalm 23:1-3

You know what it takes to win in the arena. Let us equip you to win in the arena of life. Use our resources to learn about Jesus Christ.

Who Are We?
We are the men with cowboy hearts.  We are the women who love cowboys, whether they be our husbands, fathers, or sons.  We are also the women who have cowboy blood flowing through our veins.  We are women that are western at heart.  We are a people of action and passion.  We are wholeheartedly committed to living our lives honoring God.

Yesterday
The world of cowboys is not a group of people that expect or even like life easy.  Our cowboy roots have raised us to be a people of integrity, honesty, bravery, and reliability.  The blood that runs through our veins tells us to never quit and to reach beyond ourselves.  We are driven to be tough and to be fair.  We keep our promises.  We are loyal and devoted.  We were bred to value our reputation and to never sell out.  Our blood tells us what is right and wrong.  We are a people who know in our heart that there is only one way to do something, the right way, no matter what it costs us.

Today
What happened?  Many cowboys and cowgirls have lost their good reputation.  Have we forgotten our roots?  The Code of the West was put in our ancestors’ hearts by God.  The code of ethics they left us was good.

God has not intended for us to be looked upon as ‘Just Cowboys’!  Has our passion for winning gone to far and become our idol?  Did our dreams become more important than God and family?  What became more important than doing what was right?

Years ago growing up we just wanted to ride and rodeo.  We never intended to sell out.  The Bible tells us that all have sinned, and have fallen short of the glory of God.  We all have blown it!  We all need a Savior.

Our hearts break to see cowboys and western women compromising their integrity, honesty, and decency.  It is sad watching family after family broken up by divorce. It is disheartening knowing many in the western world have lost their courage to stand for what is right.

Tomorrow
There is great news for all of us. Jesus Christ coming to earth is absolutely awesome! Jesus came and died to be our Savior and our Lord. He loves each of us.  He came and died that we might live—really live.  He knows every stupid and sinful thing each of us has done, and He loves us anyway.  He wants to forgive us, save us, and restore us.  He wants to clean us up and help us to start again.  He wants to fill us with joy and peace.  He is the God of second, third, even 100th chances.  Everything we have messed up, God will work out for His good and glory if we love Him.  It can’t get any better than that!

We want to help you get to know Jesus—to feel his forgiveness, love, peace, comfort, hope, and joy.  We want you to be strengthened with His new strength. The Bible tells us to live with a clear conscience, being honorable in all we do.  With a total commitment to Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit working in our lives we can continue on and become a people of honor!  We believe in you!  You can do this!

We love you!  Jesus Christ loves you!  He has a good plan for your life, not one of disaster.  His plan is to give you a hope and a future.  Won’t you give Jesus your heart?
